How We Work With Individuals

The Connected Individual Restoration Pathway

Women at Work By Design works with organisations to address the systems, leadership practices and workplace conditions contributing to women’s stalled career progression, burnout and career withdrawal.

Sometimes a woman needs support beyond a workplace program.

Journey Back to You provides a private retreat and restoration pathway for women experiencing deep depletion, transition or disconnection after years of responsibility, caregiving, performance and leadership.

Two businesses. One commitment to women’s sustainability and growth.

Women at Work By Design and Journey Back to You are distinct but connected.

Women at Work By Design focuses on the systems around women.

It works with organisations to address women’s retention, burnout prevention, leadership longevity, psychosocial risk, leadership architecture, workplace conditions and training women in burnout prevention.

Journey Back to You focuses on the individual woman.

It supports women when depletion has become personal, embodied and deeply felt. It creates space for restoration, reflection and reconnection beyond the demands of the workplace.

Together, they recognise that women’s sustainability requires more than policy, more than resilience training and more than time away from work.

It requires attention to both the conditions that deplete women and the personal restoration required when those conditions have taken a toll.

A Restorative Pathway, Not a Clinical Program

Journey Back to You is not a clinical treatment program, medical service or corporate training course.

It is a structured retreat and restoration experience for women who need time, space and support beyond conventional workplace initiatives.

What Journey Back to You Offers To Organisations

For organisations, Journey Back to You can provide a confidential support pathway for women who may need a deeper level of restoration than a workshop, coaching session or workplace wellbeing initiative can provide.

It may form part of a broader women’s retention, burnout prevention, leadership longevity or psychosocial risk strategy.

Organisations may use Journey Back to You to support:

  • senior women experiencing burnout or depletion;
  • high-performing women at risk of leaving;
  • women returning from stress-related absence;
  • women navigating major transition;
  • women carrying significant leadership, emotional or caregiving load;
  • women identified through confidential referral pathways;
  • women’s leadership or career-longevity initiatives.

Access may be arranged through:

  • confidential individual referrals;
  • sponsored retreat places;
  • senior-women support arrangements;
  • corporate retreat partnerships;
  • post-burnout transition support;
  • integration with Women at Work By Design programs.

The relationship with Women at Work By Design

Journey Back to You does not replace organisational responsibility.

It does not suggest that burnout is an individual failure or that women should be removed from the workplace to recover while systems remain unchanged.

Its role is different.

Women at Work By Design helps organisations understand and redesign the conditions that contribute to women’s depletion.

Journey Back to You supports the individual woman when that depletion has already become personal.

One works with the architecture around women.

The other supports the woman reconnecting with herself within and beyond that architecture.

Together, they offer organisations and women a more complete response to burnout, career sustainability and women’s leadership longevity.
