Four Books.
One Body of Work.
Women’s careers are shaped by two powerful forces: what women carry within them, and what workplaces, leadership systems and organisational cultures create around them.
When these systems interact without being understood, capable women can become progressively depleted, step back from advancement or leave at the height of their experience.

The Work Has to Happen on Both Sides
These four books form one connected body of work.
The War Women Fight…Within asks: What internal systems are contributing to women’s depletion?
Recoding Eve asks: What beliefs shape women’s relationship with power, leadership and worth?
Beyond Extractive Leadership asks: How organisational and leadership systems need to change to balance people, performance and longevity?
The Leaders Who Raise Women Up asks: What can leaders do differently in every day moments to actively support women’s careers?
Real change requires all four perspectives.
Women becoming more conscious of what they carry and how they operate.
Leaders becoming more conscious of the environment they create for women.
Organisations becoming more conscious of what they reward, reproduce and normalise.
That is the work at the heart of Women At Work By Design changing what happens where women’s lived experience, leadership and organisational systems meet.

The War Women Fight…Within
Understanding the personal patterns beneath women’s burnout and depletion.
The War Women Fight…Within explores the layers that sit beneath women’s exhaustion, including inherited expectations, needs, beliefs and conditioning, nervous system responses, hormonal systems, emotional regulation, boundaries, empathic load and work capacity, purpose and meaning.
I challenge the idea that burnout is simply a failure of resilience and support women to understand the patterns that can lead them to continue performing long after their capacity has been exceeded.
Its purpose is not to support women to endure more. It is to support them to understand themselves well enough to stop making depletion the price of achievement.

Recoding Eve
Rewriting the beliefs women have inherited about power, leadership and worth.
Recoding Eve examines the beliefs women may have inherited or learned about visibility, competence, responsibility, leadership, emotional expression, support, safety and worth.
These beliefs can quietly influence whether women speak, step forward, seek opportunity, ask for support or trust themselves to lead.
Through the Cluster Belief Reframe Process™, the book supports women to make those beliefs visible and consciously decide whether they should continue shaping their careers and provides the process to reframe the belief into one that is supportive and life enhancing.
The question shifts from: How do we help women survive the system?
To: What needs to change in the system itself?
Beyond Extractive Leadership
Questioning the leadership systems women are being asked to succeed within.
Beyond Extractive Leadership turns the lens from women to the organisation.
It examines leadership environments that can overvalue urgency, constant delivery, hierarchy, certainty, dominance and endless availability while undervaluing awareness, connection, intuition, regulation, meaning and longevity.
Through the Integrated Feminine Leadership Model™, the book makes the case for a more balanced leadership architecture one that integrates the capacities required for performance with those required for people, adaptability and sustainable leadership.

The Leaders Who Raise Women Up
Making visible the everyday leadership moments that shape women’s careers.
Women do not experience organisational systems only through policies and structures. They experience them through leaders and their everyday decisions. Who is heard. Who receives credit. Whose potential is recognised. Who receives the stretch opportunity. Who is sponsored. Whose ambition is encouraged. Whose boundaries are respected and whose career is quietly shaped by assumptions about availability, confidence, caregiving or commitment.
The Leaders Who Raise Women Up explores the role leaders play in these everyday career-shaping moments and asks them to become conscious participants in women’s progression, sustainability and career longevity.
Purchase BookWomen Cannot Carry the Whole Burden of Change Alone
Women cannot carry the whole burden of change alone.
A woman can do deep inner work and still be overlooked in the meeting. She can reframe her beliefs and still have her potential doubted. She can strengthen her boundaries and still be penalised for using them.
She can recover from burnout and return to a workplace that continues to rely on her depletion.
She can understand herself more clearly and still be operating inside systems that were not designed around women’s lives, careers or leadership longevity.
That is why the work must also sit with organisation design, leadership development, and the daily decisions of leaders.
